Baltimore celebrates 2013 National Plug-In days with another first – curbside EV charging, just across from City Hall in Baltimore City.
The ribbon cutting was led by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. GM’s Bill Tiger brought a Chevy Spark. BEVI joined GM and Tesla owner, John Segal, in the demonstration. Officials from the City, the Maryland Departments of Energy, the Environment and Transportation were present, as well as city planners from Transportation and General Services which handles energy management. We continued EV plug-in events at Camden Yards on Saturday night to help cheer the Orioles on to victory over the Red Sox.
