Volkswagen Joins the Electric Vehicles Race

From the 9 months Electric Vehicles (EV) plot program in 2012, Volkswagen has been playing an active role in EV race. E-golf, Volkswagen first EV, was debut in market at the end of last November and has motivated the company to keep jumping onto the EV list.

Being able to speed up to 60 miles per hour in less than 11 seconds, E-golf can cover as far as 90 miles per charge. Though this range is enough to cover daily commute generally, a lot of researches are working on improving the performance of battery. Besides, this zero emission model has all LED lights and it can get assisted on roadside charging system.

This is just started and VW needs electric vehicle for competing in world market, economically and ecologically in the long run!
