Tesla Motors has just announced it has officially opened its first, newly installed supercharging station in a company email blast January 24, 2014. It is located along Interstate-70 at Exit 29 and features six (6) charging stations open 24 hours a day. This charging station is conveniently located next to a Prime Outlet location where travelers can stop for a quick bite or take a walk around the shops while their Model S charges up in as little as 20 minutes.
Currently, there are 71 Superchargers open in North America and a network of them enables drivers to travel from coast-to-coast. This is a great step forward in EV infrastructure development and we are excited to see this station open up in our home state! Visit this site to see a the network of Tesla Superchargers.
