Maryland Department of Transportation is committed to ensuring accessibility of marylandev.org for people with disabilities. We have taken the following measures to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard required by Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act for state and local government websites.
Conformance status
MarylandEV.org is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Substantially conformant” means most of the site fully conforms, with the exceptions noted below.
Known limitations
Two pages (/ev-charging/ev-charging-stations-in-maryland/ and /resources/) embed a station-locator tool provided by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuels Data Center. The tool is maintained by a third party and is not under MDOT’s direct control. Each of those pages includes an alternative-access block listing a toll-free phone number (800-254-6735) and external websites, so users can access the same station information without the tool.
